For health reasons my doctor recommended that I exercise regularly & loose 30 to 40 pounds. I joined Femme Fitness June, 2005. While I benefited from the exercise 30 minutes per day 3 days a week, I did not alter my diet. Prior to joining the contest I had lost less than five pounds. In early August, 2008, I joined the "Win With Femme" contest. I personally needed the structure of the contest to push me to loose pounds. During the contest I exercised one hour three times per week. I spent 15 minutes on the elliptical walker, 30 minutes on the circuit and 15 minutes on the stationary bicycle. I also walked in my neighborhood at least twice per week (on days that I did not go to the gym).
At the start of the contest the gym manager gave me a diet plan. She answered any questions I had regarding the diet.
Since the end of the diet I have managed to maintain my weight loss by watching what I eat and by continuing the 3 days per week one hour per session work out.

It really boosts your confidence level when you are at your favorite store and your have to come out of the dressing room to get a smaller size and it slides on with a perfect fit!
There is no magic pill, the only thing that lasts is a good exercise program and modifying your daily diet , which helped me become the winner of the "Win With Femme" contest.
