30 - MINUTE EXPRESS WORKOUT

Just 30 minutes, and you’re done!
The Femme Fitness hydraulic exercise machines enable you to get both an anaerobic and aerobic workout in just 30 minutes! Getting optimum results requires strength and cardio training, but the time required to do both with conventional equipment in a traditional gym is prohibitive.

No Plateau!
Our hydraulic fitness machines operate just like swimming. Resistance is provided by the machines in both directions when the user pushes and pulls the exercise arms. Faster movements produce more resistance; stop moving and resistance stops. Varying hydraulic cylinder adjustments provide multiple training formats for better and faster results. These change-ups also keep you from becoming bored and keep you from reaching a plateau and not progressing to that next level.

Fun in Numbers!
Exercising in groups provides a fun atmosphere, especially if music is an integral component. Most commercial fitness equipment and programs don't accommodate varying fitness levels, especially beginners, or don't include a good strength component. The Femme Fitness hydraulic exercise equipment addresses all of these features.

No soreness!
This will keep you coming back! People often quit exercising when they get sore. Unlike our hydraulic fitness equipment, traditional commercial fitness equipment and machines with weights have resistance during the stretching phase and causes micro-trauma to the tissue with subsequent soreness, and can require up to 48 hours for recovery. Not so with hydraulic!

ADDITIONAL EQUIPMENT FOR YOU!

Recumbent Bike
Femme Fitness features cardio equipment made by Star Trac – makers of some of the finest and most durable equipment in the world. The recumbent bike features sleek body styling, an ultra-comfortable seat, and a utility display panel that is packed with eight unique programs and plenty of motivational feedback.

Elliptical
Star Trac’s elliptical is aptly called “The Natural Runner” because of it’s very comfortable and “natural” stride. In addition, it is undoubtedly the smoothest elliptical found anywhere, and a true joy to use! As with the recumbent bike, it features modern styling and a utility display panel with all the same programs.

Weight Training and Ab Rollers
Femme Fitness has a separate area in the facility for ladies who want a little more “workout” in their workout. A full set of free-weights ensures that you’ll get stronger, build more muscle and lose more flab in those problem areas if that’s your desire. In addition, ab rollers, exercise balls, and a weighted hoop are available for toning your body even further! Individual training on this equipment is also available if you need it.

What is Interval Training?
Simply put, Interval Training means varying the intensity within a workout. The Swedes call this "Fartlek", or speed play. You add intensity in short bouts that you could not sustain throughout the session. If you consistently keep a moderate intensity during your cardiovascular conditioning, your body adapts over time, and you'll find yourself on a plateau. To improve your fitness level, add some intense intervals.

Here are some ways to incorporate Interval Training into your routine. Remember to always warm up thoroughly before trying this technique.

Hydraluic Circuit machines: "Sprint" as fast and hard as your body will allow on the hydraulic equipment piece for the duration of the interval - 30 seconds, 40 seconds, or 60 seconds. Between each exercise machine, you will use a jogging square or stepper platform for the recovery station. Here, you will want to significantly reduce your exertion level. The recovery time duration will be the same as the exercise, and you will want to "recover" as much as possible to reduce your respiration and heart rate before moving on to the next machine.

During your speed intervals, listen to your body. You want to increase you respiration and perspiration, but not to the point of injury. The key is to go past your comfort zone, pushing yourself a little farther each time. A heart rate monitor is a good tool to use to make sure that you stay in your target heart rate zone.

Many people will work out harder when they know the end is in sight. By timing your intervals, or even picking a visual goal, say "I'll run to the third telephone pole on the right", you'll find that the workout will fly by. So get going, challenge your body and mind, and you'll see the results you want.
